Our Story
Founded in 2023, the Southaven Chamber Foundation was established to expand the Southaven Chamber of Commerce's ability to serve the community through education, leadership development, and workforce-focused initiatives.
In 2024, the Foundation launched its first Bridge Academy cohort, bringing students and local business professionals together for career exploration, mentorship, leadership development, and hands-on experiences.
In 2026, the Foundation expanded its work with the launch of the Mid South Business Exchange (MSBX), providing practical business education, professional development, podcasts, workshops, resources, and opportunities for businesses and professionals to connect and grow.
One Foundation. Two Ways We Create Opportunity.
Our 501(c)(3) Status
A nonprofit foundation with a community-focused mission.
The Southaven Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This tax-exempt status allows the Foundation to receive charitable contributions in support of its educational and community-focused mission.
What does that mean for donors?
Contributions to the Southaven Chamber Foundation may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. This allows individuals and businesses to support programs that benefit our community while potentially receiving a charitable tax deduction.
Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of a specific contribution. Sponsorships that provide substantial goods, services, advertising, or other benefits may be treated differently from charitable contributions for tax purposes.
Invest in What Comes Next
Help us build what’s next.
Every student who discovers a new career possibility, every leader who develops new skills, and every business that gains knowledge to grow contributes to a stronger community.
Whether you mentor, sponsor, participate, or give, you can be part of that work.
